How can I find out about products for my home?

Do I need planning permission to install a lift in my home?
Yes, a project plan and a building permit are required. This complete turnkey service can be part of our offer to you. Keep in mind that the building permit also protects you against possible complaints from neighbours or any incident that occurs during the work.
Is a lift the best solution I can install?
It’s definitely the most versatile solution and the one that covers the largest number of vertical transport needs for your home. The lift meets needs such as the vertical movement of goods and the vertical displacement of any person with reduced mobility or who wants to avoid having to climb the stairs. The alternative solutions don’t cover all these situations.
What other options are there?
Depending on the characteristics of the property, a stairlift or a stairlift platform can be installed. These are always subject to a previous study on our part, in order to be able to offer the customer the best possible solution for the vertical transport of people depending on the characteristics of the property, the needs of the customer and the budget with which the customer feels comfortable.
Where in my home can I install a lift?
In some cases, the architects have already made provision in the design for an area that allows the installation of a lift. The location varies depending on the architecture of the property, but there are usually several solutions. As a general rule, lifts are installed next to the stairs, or as close to them as possible. In more complex cases, the installation may be carried out in various areas of the property, such as the façade.
What is the power consumption of a lift?
Depending on the technology with which it is designed, we would normally be talking about a consumption of 2 – 8 kW during use. Now, there are also technologies which make use of renewable energy, so it can be combined to the point of being very energy efficient. This power can be supplied by means of a 380 V connection, or using the 220 V connection commonly found in family homes. There are systems with energy storage that can also work in conjunction with a renewable energy generation system such as solar photovoltaic or wind power, thus achieving a near-zero impact on the home.
How is a lift quotation estimated?
The price of a lift varies depending on the number of floors to be covered, load capacity, cabin finishes, type of boarding and type of doors to be installed. Aszende offers multiple forms of payment depending on the needs of our customer; one of these is the financing of the lift.
How long does it take to install a lift?
The process of installing a lift for a family home should not exceed one month of work without counting the civil works. However, it will depend on the type of device, the type of property, and whether the customers are already living there or it’s a new build.
Is maintenance mandatory?
Spanish legislation requires that all lifts be registered (R.A.E.) and have mandatory maintenance by a specialist technician.
There are a range of maintenance plans available, from a premium plus contract with all possible coverage to an Optimo contract with basic coverage.
