Collaboration with Càritas
For some years now, Aszende has been contributing to the maintenance of Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona’s lifts. We provide the maintenance service completely free of charge so that they can focus on what really matters: helping those most disadvantaged.
Càritas is an NGO that offers immediate assistance and opportunities for economic and human advancement to people in need. In 2021, Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona provided assistance to 12,560 households, a total of 27,540 people. In addition, parish and presbyteral branches of Càritas helped a total of 27,870 homes, totalling 65,287 people.
TiC TAC CUP
Aszende is one of the sponsoring partners of the Tic Tac Cup, an international youth football tournament that takes place every year in Cornellà. Since 2016, Aszende has contributed every year to a competition in which the youth academies both of the main Spanish teams and of world-class clubs, such as Benfica or Paris Saint Germain, take part.
Thanks to this collaboration, Aszende contributes to the promotion of sport as a means of fostering the values of diversity, respect, teamwork and solidarity.
PROMOTING LOCAL SPORT
This commitment to sport as a vector of change and social progress has also led us to collaborate with various local sports organisations and competitions. We sponsor various children’s and amateur football teams and competitions. We also contribute to the organisation of races and athletic events.
